Black Bear Pass

This is the road leading down from Black Bear Pass. This shot was taken from the main street in downtown Telluride.

We came down just to the left of the upper waterfall then crossed just above the lower waterfall on the left. You can see the rest of the road coming down the mountain from there. It is so narrow it is way only except for 1 day each year when it is opened to travel in the other direction. Each switchback required a 3 point turn to get around the corner. There is a hydro-electric plant just above the waterfall on the right, that is where the road becomes 2 way again.

This is without a doubt the scariest driving I've ever done in my life and I'd do it again in heartbeat it was so much fun.
